- Go to the factory of the rum making company, Brugal, and taste the Dominican rum that they produce there.

Natural and Touristic Attractions in Cabrera
- The Blue Lagoon, located in the Entrada district. Its clear, turquoise waters make it impossible to resist taking a dip.
- Dudú Lagoon. Here you will feel like you are in paradise, with the chance to go diving or even jump from a 10 meter a zip line. And the lagoon has seen several special visitors over time, including Christian Bale and many others.
- The Malecón in Cabrera. This is a great place for taking picturesque photos.
- The natural monument that is El Saltadero.
- La Piscina Natural La Catalina. This is underground spring water which is built up and contained to form a pool on the shores of the Atlantic.
- The main beaches to visit are Diamante Beach, Caletón Beach, El Puerto Beach, Bréton Beach and La Preciosa Beach.
Places and Attractions to Discover in Nagua and Nearby
- The protected area of Cabo Francés National Park.
- Gri Gri Lagoon in Río San Juan, as previously mentioned.
- The spectacular Samaná Peninsula. In this area during the spring, you may be able to spot some humpback whales. And don’t forget to visit the whale museum too!
- Santo Domingo, the capital city, is also easy to reach from Nagua.

- Visit Limón Waterfall
- Visit the Galeras, and from there you can take a boat to Frontón Beach. Or if you prefer, you can choose to visit the restaurant that’s located on the top of a cliff, which has the most spectacular views.
- Explore and discover Los Haitises National Park.
- Enjoy the beaches of Las Terrenas, Bonita beach and Cosón beach.
- Go surfing or snorkeling.
- Enjoy the local and fusion cuisines, whose main focus of their dishes is fresh seafood. Somewhat surprisingly, many of the restaurants in Las Terrenas are French.
